Welcome to the official website of the Decatur Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated!
It is my honor and pleasure to serve as the 19th Chapter President of the award-winning Decatur Alumnae Chapter. For more than 50 years, this dynamic chapter has been a pillar of strength, sisterhood, and service in the Southern Region and throughout DeKalb County. Since our historic chartering on October 5, 1973, by sixteen forward-thinking and intelligent charter members, we have continued to uphold a powerful legacy of impact and excellence.
As the second alumnae chapter established in the metro Atlanta area, our chapter boasts a rich history of legacy-driven, trailblazing women. Guided by our commitment to the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, we remain steadfast in promoting scholarship, sisterhood, service, and social action through meaningful programs, purposeful initiatives, and strong community partnerships.
With a membership of over 500 dedicated sorors, we look forward to advancing this legacy throughout the 2025–2027 biennium under our theme: “Empowered to Serve, United to Impact.” In collaboration with our community partners, we are energized and committed to using our talents and collective strength to reach new heights—together.
